As you know, SSC MTS 2024 notification has been released for the recruitment of 9583 posts of Havaldar and MTS and CBT Exam has been scheduled from 30th September to 14th November 2024. SSC MTS Paper-I Exam Pattern (Revised)

The revised SSC MTS Paper-I Exam Pattern has been released along with SSC MTS Notification 2024 and the same has been tabulated below.

  1. Computer-Based Examination will be conducted in 2 Sessions.
  2. Session-I and Session-II and both the Sessions will be mandatory to be attempted.
  3. Not attempting any session will disqualify the candidate.
  4. There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Session 2 while there will be no negative marking in Session 1.

SSC MTS Syllabus for General Awareness

Questions will be designed to test the ability of the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of Current Affairs and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighbouring countries especially about Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic scene, General Polity including Indian Constitution, and Scientific Research, Static GK etc. These questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline.
